Mera Peak (6654m) Climbing
Mera Peak Climbing expedition takes place on Himalayan kingdom of Nepal which has recently opened its Himalayan peaks for enthusiastic climbers around the globe. Mera Peak is the one of the popular and best climbing peaks of Nepal due to its ease in climbing and viewpoints of all 8000 meter peaks of Everest from its summit. Mera Peak of khumbu region of Nepal is one of the elevated peaks of 6654meters from sea level. Beginning from the climbing trails of Khumbu region the travelers walk over the foothills closer to the Mera base camp from Lukla. The Mera Peak Climbing expedition leads the travelers to trek through the bordering mountain hills of Naulekh, Puiyan, Pangkongma, Kobe, Tangnag, Khare until they reach the Mera Base Camp. The Mera Peak climbing route leads towards the eastern side of the Mera Mountain with three hours of steep climbing till the pinnacle of the ridge. Finally the travelers descend towards till the height of 5800 meters nearby the lap of Mera Mountain.
The trekking expedition is a memorable walking event through the woodlands of pine & rhododendron in the scene of grazing pastures and meadows. The climb to the Mera summit is a straight climb on rope till the climbers reach the top of the mountain through the long glaciers. Finally after the ascending the summit the travelers have the prized perspectives of surrounding crests of 8000meters so called as the union of highest peak of the world. The trekkers will observe and witness the encompassing beauty and enchanting views of five pinnacles of 8000meters like Cho-Oyu, Makalu, Kanchanjunga, Lotse, Everest and other small surrounding summits. From this point the trek descends with steep descent stroll to the hidden Hinku Valley going closer to bottom which is densely forested which is a grazing land for faunas of highlanders. This expedition is a wonderful experience in legendary region of hidden Hinku Valley where Sherpas still lives the untamed highlander’s traditional lifestyle of grazing yaks, and breathe a very straightforward living. After returning from the the summit the travelers can take rest at Namche Bazar where they can return to Kathmandu by taking air flight from Lukla airport.
